Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Innovation
Dr. Sunita Kramer is responsible for planning and implementing innovative curricular and research opportunites to help students engage directly with faculty and industry and professional experts. Prior to joining the Honors College, she served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers’ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her research on early cardiac development has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the American Heart Association. In 2005 she was awarded a Faculty Mentor of the Year Award for her commitment to teaching and mentoring. She earned her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Stony Brook University.
