Michelle Cheng is currently completing her Ph.D. in psychology with a certificate in cognitive science. Her research examines the development of social cognitive processes in infants and preschoolers. While pursuing her Ph.D., Michelle has supervised and mentored several undergraduates as well as high school students in psychological science. She has also served as the Cognitive Science Undergraduate Adviser where she became the bridge between undergraduates and faculty members. During her graduate studies at Rutgers University, Michelle has been involved in the Teaching Assistant Project as a program coordinator and content manager. Since 2013, Michelle has taught a wide variety of undergraduate courses in psychology and cognitive science as well as graduate courses and workshops relating to higher education pedagogy.
