Dr. Aaron Mazzeo is a Faculty Fellow at the Honors College, where he resides with his family, as well as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Prior to joining the faculty at Rutgers, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and he completed his undergraduate (S.B.) and graduate degrees (S.M. and Ph.D.) at MIT in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He recently received a NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Faculty Fellowship (2015), which gave him an opportunity to work with NASA engineers to study new techniques for embedding sensors in space structures. In addition to his undergraduate teaching responsibilities in the engineering school, he leads an Honors College (Aresty-Byrne) Seminar focused on Paper-based Electronics and Art.
