Designing Digital Logos and Images

This workshop, hosted by Faculty Fellow Dr. Mary Chayko and communication professor Franziska Schmitt, will show you how to design, edit, and work with images and logos using Photoshop. International designer and illustrator Breanna "Tree" Abraham, book designer at Bloomsbury Publishing, will help you design your own digital logos and images and provide lots of tips and tricks. Pizza, Politics, and Social Media: A Conversation with Dr. Chayko and School of Communication and Information Professors

Stop by Dr. Chayko's Faculty Fellow apartment for pizza and conversation about the pivotal role that social media plays in the current political environment. Instructors Nesi, Hodges, and Leavey from SC&I's Digital Communication, Information, and Media program will share their insights, and Dr. Chayko will share two types of pizza: veggie and plain! Very casual; no RSVP; just stop by. 

Rutgers Women in Neuroscience Event

Join Dr. Marwa Azab, the Rutgers University Women in Neuroscience, and the Douglass Project at the Honors College for a conversation about human behavior and neurological processes. Dr. Azab holds advanced degrees in both Psychology and Neuroscience. Currently, she is an Adjunct Professor at California University, Long Beach as well as a writer, public speaker and life coach. Despite her different roles, with everything she does, she seeks to expose people to the wonders of psychology and neuroscience.
