Diversity Peer Educator
Aasha, RA for the third floor south (DRC), is a sophomore double majoring in business analytics and information technology and political science and minoring in international and global studies, with a regional concentration on the Middle East. In addition to being a Diversity Peer Educator and RA, Aasha is also on the Rutgers Mock Trial team, secretary of the Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society, the Honors College representative on the Douglass Governing Council, and is also involved in the Women's Political Caucus, Safe Halo, and a few other organizations on campus. A Douglass Residential College woman, Aasha's passion for social and political activism was fueled by the two years in high school she spent working as an advocate for gender equality at the United Nations. She hopes to continue working towards inclusion for all marginalized groups on a more grassroots level as a Diversity Peer Educator.
